GTV6 vs Camaro IROC 89 350

Does anyone on the digest have any experience on the roadhandling 
capabillities of these cars in comparisson.
My friends doubt that a standard GTV6 will handle better than a Camaro 
89 350 also standard.

After driving his camaro he will not accept the GTV6 as a better 
handler.
