164 Q and oil leak

It looks like your transmission was off the car recently and when put back on
the oil seal got mutilated, as the transmission was jammed against the right
axle.It probably leaks form the right axle inlet (that is still on left side
of engine compartment).When you go to fix that, you will notice that noone had
ever any reason to remove the intermediate shaft.Especially when you go remove
the allen head screws that secure the 2 right ones together.I have further
info if it turns out that i'm right about it..
