GTV6 window cables

	I was doing some tinkering on my new GTV6 today and discovered that
the driver's side window cable has snapped  IAP only sells the cable along
with the power window motor at a price I don't want to pay. I know there
must be some cheap way to fix it. I couldn't see how the cable attaches to
the motor, is it a big loop? Any tips on repairing it?
	One other thing I discovered while sitting in the driver's seat and
making racing sounds, I was resting my foot lightly on the clutch pedal
which promptly sank to the floor... Bad master cylinder right? If I step on
it fast it feels fine. Also is there any external way to tell if the car
still has the dual plate clutch?
