With OBD3 and a radio reciever (which most cars have anyway) it would be
about as easy to govern maximum vehicle speed  using roadside radio beaco=

as it would be to automatically issue speeding tickets. By using roadside=

beacons, vehicle speeds could be limited to legal maximums (or slower und=

conditions of heavy traffic, adverse weather, road hazards, etc.) In othe=

words, with an OBD3 compliant vehicle, it could be made impossible to
speed. I'm sure this won't happen, though. since speeding tickets are suc=
h
big money makers. (So call me a cynic....)
