Snow tires on Alfas

We live in the periodic snow belt- 18 in at the beginning of Jan, 70F 
yesterday....

Enough snow for me to get an opinion.  I've run Pirellis on my Honda, which	were really nice, no confidence problems.  Last year, I put Blizzaks on my
Miata- I was impatient- very good in bad weather, but terrible in the 
dry weather.  These would be good if I ran on ice ALL the time, but I would
not likely get them agian.  For my wife- only the best- I put Pirelli Ice's	on her '94 164.  First time we got snow, she was really geeked about them.	Even this year, when we had snow up to the car- the tires were really nice	and grippy.  And they also are very comforable in the dry, better than many	moderate performace dry tires even!
