RE: demister relay

Jon,

I am assured by my local Alfa agent that there was a recall on 164's - like
I said my '90 V6 lusso had it done - where the demister relay was replaced;
apparently it wasn't upto the job, and gave up.  I do remember hitting the
demist button, and hearing crackle in the radio, demist light didn't come
on.  Then eventually the fizzing stopped, light came on and I guess screen
warmed up. This happened a couple of times - and that was AFTER the relay
was replaced.  Then I sold the car and bought the cloverleaf.  YEEE-HAAA!
Now I don't have to see what's behind me - it's usually the car that was
briefly in front.

Not sure *exactly* what was wrong - I can't remember (the fuse holder is
integral: on the top) but something wasn't rated high enough.  Do you have
an Alfa Agent/dealer you could bug?  If not, I'll call to see mine, and ask
him :-)
