Great answer J. Denis, very informative. Perhaps you can tell me why
trucks (pu's, vans, etc.) have a right angle bend on the end of their
exghaust systems so that the exhaust comes out behind one of threar
wheels, while cars have straight pipes exiting under the rear bumper. Is
it a torque tuning issue or just for clearance?
