105 Gearbox

Hi there,
I wonder if anybody can tell if there are any visable differences
between a 1750/1600 gearbox and a 2000? I know that the shaft on a
2000 is a bit thicker, 22 mm, but are there any stamped figures or
so?
The housings have the same ricambi no etc. Thanx in advance.
Saluti Wille R

The Alfa Romeo Duetto and 1750 Veloce Round-tail Spider sites.
Now 706 round-tails in the register.
Old enough to remember when girls were girls, Alfa Romeo had
Weber carburetors and Jerry Lee Lewis was "the Killer".
