"gardenia" white



My 105.02 seems to be "bertone" white.  The PPG list mentions only a touch
of red oxide.  From 0 to obviously pink, it never comes into a match -- 
the original seems somehow more translucent.

I suspect that whites available today all use titanium dioxide, and that
the original pigment was lead oxide.

Matching that paint used by Bertone may be a real donneybrook.
