Variable Cams

     Speaking of Cams.  Does anyone know what kind of performance would be 
     obtained by substituting the variable cam from a 1982 Bosch injected 
     spider in an earlier weber carbuerated car.  The variable cam looks 
     like it would fit in my 1600 Sprint GT veloce, but I'm not sure if its 
     worth the effort of switching and readjusting valves.
