Spider Parts wanted

I am looking for this part from an '83 Spider (I am pretty sure
it is the same from all Spider model years):

What I need is a small part from the trunk cable/ handle =

assembly. It is the little 'eye' that the cable threads into and
attaches the cable to the bolt located on the handle. My cable broke =

off inside this part and refuses to be removed, even when drilled.
In addition, these parts cannot be bought without buying the whole
handle/lock kit (which would require me to either use a different key
for the trunk lock and glove box or take the locks to a locksmith,
which is too much money).
