If I remember correctly, it is not <absolutely> necessary to remove/move
the mc -- but if not, then you have to tilt the motor a lot and juggle a
little.  The <brake> mc is not too difficult, anyway -- the <clutch> is
the PITB.

I'd suggest checking <which> wiring harness goes/does-not trough the
firewall -- disconnect those which <do>.  Study the connections a bit -- I
find they are quite reliably color-coded (the plastic ends) -- color, with
where they fall, pretty much tells which to plug.

<Why> attempt to transplant <both> x-axle and diDion?  Yes, keep the
spare, but these are seprate operations -- less weight and complication
one at a time (once you have separated the half-shafts from the disk --
think switching to GTV6 hex-head bolts -- you <can> buy a combo-wrench
which will remove them -- the socket-heads in that location are a major
pain, and virtually require taking-apart more than necessary to change
disks).
