Leaded fuel AGAIN!

One UK guy said he thought leaded fuel was solely a lubricant, not octane
booster, WHEW!   In my tirade about the lead question, I was talking about
real engines, not the vintage British tin cans types.  Go back to WW1
aviation engines which was before Tetra-Ethyl-Lead was born,  NO LEAD.  All
modern engines today do not require leaded fuels and the valves and seats do
not suffer.  So knock it off!  
Also, I and many others on the Alfa Digest are sick and tired of the SUV
Bullshit, so knock it off too!  Lets keep this an all Alfa digest, abouy
