Fred, I don't think it's 'normal' for any car to leak oil. It may, 
however, be common.:-)

 I would think you should at least check it out and find the source of 
the leak. It could be something as simple as the valve cover gasket, or 
something as serious as a leaking head gasket or crankshaft seal.

 If it's one of the serious items you can plan the repair as maintenence 
instead of letting it go until a catastrophic failure occurs. If it's 
something innocent, you can feel much better each time you see the oil 
spot knowing that something bad isn't just about to happen.
