58 Giulietta

David,
Sounds like nice Giulietta driver material. The 101 engine (and 5sp. trans)
increases drivability and maintainability a lot, but detract from value,
your choice. Is it a Veloce chassis (divided left air intake, crude "F"
stamp above VIN # on firewall, etc.)? If you have experience with common
English and German restoration projects you might be shocked at the cost of
parts and the lack of too many parts, including proper tires (although
getting better slowly) and few suppliers. It will tax your networking
skills and patience. Has it ever been crunched? I love them, the delicate
feel, lovely parts, and overall design, but have never had to put up with so
much grief, trouble and expense with English sports cars (Jag and MGs).
Hard to say about value, but range of $2K to $4k sounds like a starting
point. Then expect to spend another $5K to $10K. Join the Giulietta
