Disconnected this on my gtv6, made all the difference in the world.

Ever since I first read about this method I've been wondering about the
effectiveness of this modification. Sure, at low temperatures it will help,
but doesn't fool the brain into thinking that the engine is running cold
all the time? At running temperature (coolant at 85 degrees C), the
resistance should be 250 Ohms, but with your resistor in series with the
sensor, the total resistance will be over 3 kOhms, which according to the
brain corresponds to something like 20 to 30 degrees C. Wouldn't this cause
less than optimal running? Just a thought, I may be wrong. Expert opinions
are warmly welcomed.
