5 Stud conversion

Dave,

Concerning the 5-stud conversion, me and a mate have done it in the
past, but the other way 'round. We were having problems getting 5-stud
mags, and since we already had 4-stud mags we decided to just change
over. The front is easy - just remove and install the 5-stud discs. (I
assume you can just change the hub over too, but this way was easier
for us) Don't forget to make sure the bearings are okay and seated
properly. The rear we had a bit of trouble with - due to not having
enough tools, but it's the same proceedure, take off old hubs put new
ones on.

With the vent disc conversion I've got a guy down up in Shepparton,
Vic who reckons he knows how to do it. It's definately possible.

I read not too long ago on the digest about a bmw 7-series caliper
conversion, but I e-mailed the guy and still haven't got a response,
so I'm not sure about that. Sounds interesting, thou

Cheers and Happy New Year to ya and to everyone,
==
