Lawrence, the gas running down your intake hose is most likely from the 
cold-start valve.  Disconnect the blue plug from the back of the plenum 
(follow the gas line to find the CSV), pull the plugs and clean them, 
then try and restart.  I bet the CSV has stuck open as a result of either 
the temp sensor or stuck open mechanically, thus flooding and fouling 
your engine.  best of lUck,
