congrats on the werde purchase.  can't help much w/the head-gasket removal -
haven't been there yet!  as far as the abs, if your pump comes on every time you
use the brakes, you mite yust need a gnu accumulator.  retails about $180, i got
mine from jeff at algar parts (800.441.9824) for about $130 - this was about 2
years ago.  (alfabill - competitive here?) there's a kit awailable (not a stock
alfa kit) to conwert to non-abs (peddle-box?)  that several a/d'ers will surely
tell you about.  czech out the milano/75 website for abs (and other milano) info
- - real nice - almost as nice as your gtwe6 website!  :>)
