164 battery

Alan,
This is not normal. An easy check for current drain is to get a digital
multimeter that can read amps, take the
negative lead off the battery and connect the meter in series between the
battery neg. and ground. turn everything off (somehow disable the trunk
light or try to close it with the leads/meter going out of the trunk.
Now if you have any reading on the meter you have a current drain. Next
start pulling fuses one at a time checking the meter when you pull a fuse
and the meter goes to zero you've found the circuit or device thats causing
the problem. (I had a glovebox light on a VW that was not turning off. Drove
me nuts) I hope this little bit of troubleshooting helps. Let us Know.
