please, no AROC bashing or Zelazny bashing here

please everyone, let's dispense with the bashing of AROC and Bernie. it
serves no purpose, really. i've received several private communications
from AROC board members and officers, and a note from Bernie, and i'm
personally not ticked off at anyone or any club, and would prefer it if
others weren't busy being ticked off on my behalf.

AROC is what you make of it; club politics are what you make of them. i
have been active in AROC in the past, and maybe of this startup pays off,
i'll be able to buy a really neat alfa someday and be active again (not
that my 73 GTV isn't neat, but...)

AROC conventions can be a really enjoyable experience. AROC chapters vary a
lot, just like chapters in any large club vary -- some are great, and some
are not, and some chapters will work for one person and not the next.
bashing the national organization and bashing chapters on the net doesn't
really serve any useful purpose.
