high compression pistons

Greetings,

 I had asked for info regarding the use of 10.1 and 10.4 to 1 
compression pistons in a 2.0l street engine and received lots of 
responses. I would just like to thank everyone who responded with their 
advice and experiences. I think it will make me feel much more confident 
in the choice of an expensive part of my rebuild.

 For anyone else that may be wondering about the subject the consensus 
seems to be that both of these pistons should be good with premium pump 
gas as long as the head hasn't been shaved from stock specs. If it has 
been, 92 or 93 octane may not do the trick. 

I was also informed that the 'motronic' equipped spiders came with the 
10.1:1 pistons stock! I didn't know that.

Now to get all the other bottom end parts up to snuff. Hope my wallet 
holds up!
