164 factory alarm

	Hi All, I am interested in learning more about the factory alarm system
installed in my '91 164 S. I'm not having problems with it. I don't even
know if it works because I didn't receive the alarm remote when I bought the
car. The owners manual has a brief but cryptic description of the arming and
disarming of the system as well as where the siren is located.  The owners
manual also states that it disables the engine. But how? The 164 Car Disc
just tells me where the control unit is and more about the siren. Unless I
haven't looked in the right place yet.

My question is:

Is there any more factory information available on this system and how do I
get it?
