RE: Anyone tried a Supertrap on an Alfa?

i've got a supertrapp on my spider. modified head, shankle headers, no
center section, ansa rear section (although for a while it was straight pipe
front to rear), supertrapp at the back.

very effective. no noticeable difference in power with all the baffles
removed (i.e. fully open) and a dozen of them in place, but lot's of noise
reduction (although still quite loud). for me, loss of power starts when
there are only four baffles in place, six to twelve is much better.

i don't know how the fumes will work with the rear hatch on an alfetta
coupe. the supertrapp disburses them uniformly radially, so if your hatch
seals aren't good then fumes could be a problem.

hope this helps,

bs
