Engine removal

As for getting the engine and trans out together easily, which is the only
way to do it. All you have to do is get the shift leaver off, one bolt well
buried. Remove all attaching stuff, connect enging hoist or whatever you
have (chain block?). Now raise the back of the car as high as you can on a
floor jack. The trans will come out of it's little hole. Lift the assembly
slowly while rolling the car backwards. One person can do this quite well
and I works like a dream.
