Moving: Perth to Brisbane

Late December 98 will see me pack up all (well most) of my worldly
belongings and move from my home in Perth to the sunny hills of
Brisbane.
As a result of this upheaval, there are two issues which I need to
resolve:
a) What are the Qld registration laws which I am facing for my two
alfas; and
b) Who wants my surplus spare parts?

I understand that in Brisbane there is a roadworthyness certificate to
pass prior to changing my registration from WA to Qld plates - how
gruelling is this process? Is the roadworthiness certificate all I need
to pass prior to changing registration or are there more hoops to jump
through? Are there any "Alfa friendly" roadworthy inspectors who I
should use, or inspectors with whom you have had good experiences in the
past? I am bringing across my lowered, but otherwise standard '75 (105
series) GTV 2000 Automatic (the ladies car) and my own street driven '71
1750 (now 2 litre, efi, turbo, intercooled, lowered, bumperless, etc)
GTV. Any thoughts on how I'll fair over in Brisbane will be greatly
appreciated.

As for my surplus parts.... anyone who is in the Perth area and
interested in the following parts - please get in touch with me.
1750 long motor (good strong motor) including 40 mm Dellortos,
Full standard exhaust system to suit 1750 gtv (good cond),
Pair of 40mm Dellortos jetted for 2 litre,
Pair of 40mm Solexs jetted for 2 litre,
Alfetta 2 litre short motor (block, crank, rods and pistons, sump and
oil pump),
New set of Borgo 2 litre pistons and rings.

I'm probably most easily contacted by email at: mes@domain.elided
otherwise call me after hours on (08) 9367 4460.

Thanks and regards,
Nick.
