Microsoft Image Composer

I'm trying to put pics on the One Lap page...
For speed of downloading the pages, I'm trying to make the scan smaller
in size, but keep getting a white border... Anyone know what I'm doing
wrong? Some worked, others are failing.
I'm exporting the scan as a file to my Zip and pulling it into the Image
Composer and then converting it there to
jpg and trying to change the size. for an example of the problem, see
