Removing V6 Oil Filters

(I'm almost afraid to ask this question <g>)
My Alfa mechanic has picked up the SAAB dealership, and has tried the SAAB
filters on Alfas with good success. They sub out to a Fram PH-3614. The
filter is fairly small, but I was told has the same filtering
characteristics as the PH-16. I put one on my low-use GTV6 as an
experiment, still using the PH-16 on the Milano for now.
Has anybody else looked at the PH-3614? It's easy to get out without taking
off the air box.
