SPICA blues

Hi folks...

Question;
Spica on a 69 Spider, 
All rods set correctly,
TA and Cold start working correctly
Car starts easily 
Runs VERY rich and has roughness throughout power band, but plenty of
power.

Ingram's manual points towards the calibration or delivery valves.

It appears that the pump may be shot...and it has had periods of long
inactivity.

Anything I can look for before removing it and sending it back to Wes
Ingram? It is a HP pump.
