Ciao Alfisti,
I am following the discussion of this type of Alfa for a while. I myself =
own an Alfasud from the year 1972 !!!
This was the first year the car was sold and only for the Italian =
market, my car was so young, that it even did not have a brake booster =
or a heated rear window ( appears in the middle of 1973 ). I think I do =
own one of the last remaining Suds of this year.=20
I did just take a look at my Sud, and I can tell you that there are more =
marks at this car that proof it is a real Alfa Romeo than at many other =
Alfa's in that time. The Sud has a real Alfa Hart in the front and in =
its hart beats a badge at which you can see the words Alfa Romeo, =
furthermore is has the same badge at the lid of the trunck. Even at more =
places this car does cry out it is a real Alfa, all the four wheels do =
have covers at the center ( like the ones of early Juniors ). In the =
covers are rings that have the text Alfa Romeo around them. Also in the =
center of the steering wheel you can see the Alfa Romeo logo. So at 6 =
places at this car it is obvious that you have to do with an Alfa Romeo =
and nothing else !!!
You can see this Sud at my home page: =
http://home.wxs.nl/~evdbeek/index.html go to Alfa Romeo in the =
left frame, than to Sud / Giulia etc.
I am in the process of translating my HP in English, sorry but my =
article of this Sud I did not translate yet.
