76 Spider running rough

Oh Masters of Alfa knowledge,

My 76 Spider, SPICA type, suddenly decided it was time to run very
rough. My impression (limited knowleddge and experience fixing cars)
is that she appears to be running on 3 cylinders.

Background. She has been sitting for about a week due to the very wet
weather we've been having. Fired her up this morning, and she was
very rough. I checked to plug wires, made sure they were all
connected tight. No problems there. I checked the plugs
themselves...they are pretty carbonized, cleaned them off, but that
didn't help at all.
I had the same condition 3-4 weeks ago, after she'd sat at the garage
for 5 days getting a shorted wire repaired. I was very low on gas,
and thought that might be the problem. Filled up 2 miles down the
road and problem solved. No such luck today.

Can anyone suggest what items I should check to start? I was thinking
maybe the distributor. Any hints or suggestions? Or might it be
something more invloved than that?

Any help is, as always, greatly appreciated.
