Stereo in a Spider & theft

Hi Alberto, 
I've got a '77, and when I got the car it had the speakers in the outer kick
panels, down by your feet. It's a reasonably deep panel, so the speakers can
be pretty deep too, and it's also fairly well hidden. As for the radio, I
used to have a Blaupunkt (top of the line - for 1985!) in there and never
had problems. Now I have an Alpine detachable face, and I always remove the
face. When I leave the car parked overnight or longer, I usually put on a
cover (on the car, not the radio), which makes it even harder to see what's
in there.
