Alfa 75/90/164

>>I've seen this line of reasoning before (Dana ??) and am curious about
it. It may have the AR marketing material that suggests it, but really
the 90 and 75 were essentially the same car, just repackaged. The 164 is
a much bigger car, pitched at a different market segment.<<

The 90 was meant as a replacement for the Alfa 6 as a large luxury car
with a far less sporting bias. Although in engineering terms it followed=

on from the Alfetta, it was designed at the same time as the 75 and
in marketing terms it was in the same area as the 164.

The Guilietta was meant as a larger small car, and the 33 was meant =

to replace both the it and Sud. The 155 was definatly the followup to
the 75.

All the best

Keith
