actually, there were two 'purists' - rich wagner also made some great points
in the discussion.  heard rumor that dr. tenney is no longer watching the
digest, and i haven't heard anything from rich in a while.  both were smart
people with a lot to offer, and while i might not have agreed on every point
i personally learned a lot from the discussions and miss both of them on the
digest.

i was perusing the cardisk cd for the '72 - '74 spider the other night, and
came across a section that contained the performance catalog, offered by
alfa romeo.  in it were all kinds of goodies, lightened flywheels, 16 valve
alfetta cylinder heads, etc etc.  boy, i'd love to stumble across a stash of
some of that stuff..
