Re: alfa-digest V7 #192, GTV-6 Clutch Noise

I too have had "clutch noise" simular to what has been discribed on recent
digest posts.  Perhaps someone can pinpoint the problem.  1984 GTV-6,  when
the engine is running and the clutch is out there is a periodic rubbing noise
that varies with engine speed.  When the clutch is depressed the noise stops.
On the lift the noise sounds like it is coming from the bell housing area.
The former owner said that the clutch and TO bearing were replaced and the
noise stayed (?).  Any ideas on how to fix this?
