back-up back-up cables

The factory provides a back-up hood release on the GTV6 -- a heavy
monofilament, coursing around sharp metal corners......

Having cut the tea-tray out once already, I hooked a coat-hanger on the
release lever, the loop out the opening behind the driver side wheel.
