HELP!

I posted on the digest last week regarding the sudden dying of my '84
GTV6's engine. Having yet to receive any responses, I am trying again.
This car has been a real joy to own and drive, until recently when it
has left me stranded twice. In neither case was there advanced
indication of any problem. On the first occurrence, the engine restarted
after about an hour. Once started, it ran fine. This most recent time,
even after several hours, it will not restart. Having owned an Alfetta
for many years, I was comfortable working on the Spica system. I do
confess to finding the electronics of the GTV6 much more intimidating.

To this point, I have verified that the engine is getting spark. I would
appreciate any advice on verifying the cause of this problem.
