I just replaced my GTV6 compressor with a milano unit. I bought the compressor and
required brackets from Alfa Parts Exchange (used). See the article on the gtv6 web
site:

  http://www.gtv6.org

I used a milano receiver / dryer (new) instead of one of the ones mentioned. I also used
a milano cutoff switch (used).
Instead of refilling with R12, I replaced the hose seals and evacuated the system
and refilled with R134.
Unfortunately, the system does not cool much better than before. The pressures are
fine at the service ports (250, 30), but the outlet temperature only gets down to
60F (outside temp 85F). I think I may have a problem somewhere else in the system...

How hard is it to get to the expansion valve in a GTV6? Has anyone done this?
What has to be removed?
