Auto Berlina For Sale!

Digest,
This person sent me this request to sell his car to my home address-
sounds like a rather rare version of the berlina.... Please
e-mail him directly (check the "From" line below...). I have no
financial interest, yadda, yadda,....

>Hello, Mr. Storhok!
>
>Thanks for kind response. The red car with black interior is in Dallas whilst I
>reside in Denver. My father purchased it as second-hand in Erlangen, Germany in
>1972 because he did not wish to busy himself with gear shifting and to
>inconvenience himself with ingress and egress through two doors (for growing
>family). We brought the 1750A to Dallas in 1975 due to employment transfer. The
>Texas weather is very marvellous to our 1750A; very little body rust other than
>the common rust at rear doors. I drove it for three years before the idiot
>halted himself in the middle of intersection. Ouch, the 1750A is in need of new
>front clip and some restoration as it remains in the storage since then.
>
>To my knowledge, Alfa Romeo built 247 or 252 units of 1750A. The automatic gear
>box is ZF three-speed unit. I have the German language owner's instruction book
>for operating the automatic gear box. The 1750A is German edition with
>smart-looking rear fog lamp attaching to the fascia and fitted with dreadful
>Solex carburettors (I planned to change them to Weber, yet my father
>intervened).

>Regards,
