Milano ?

I found the back of the "information center" disconnected on my
girlfriend's Milano....  Once connected it is relatively unreliable,
frequently resembling a 70's disco light show.  I have read about faulty
grounds and low voltages being the culprit on the AD.  Is there a
seperate "brain" controlling the LED unit and where is it located, how
is it accessed?
