the spider that younger brother just brought back from california had a
custom made zip out rear window.  it doesn't zip all the way out, instead
the sides and the top open up which allows the window to fold down prior to
lowering the actual top.

the p.o. even went so far as to have a cover made for the window to protect
it while the top is down.

the top looks looks like a standard canvas top that has been modified.
