Dunlop D40 tyres (WAS Tyres for GTV6)

In no.119, Chris discussed the Dunlop D40M2 tyre as being a very
good performance tyre. I wonder if any readers know whether this
same tyre is marketed down-under (NZ or Oz) under a different
model name? It sounds like a tyre option to keep in mind when my
next replacement is due, but I don't think I've come across them
here in NZ.
Anyone know please ?
