33 valve clearances

"I think" you may have hydraulic tappets as fitted to later 33's in
which case they don't need adjustment, as for the handling problems I
would check for broken front or rear springs and damper performance
(especially rear dampers) as these cars usually only have torque steer
probs under hard acceleration,and have good stability at higher speeds.
