TS oil pressure



The pressure relief valve in the oil pump would
have the opposite effect.  The often stick making 
the pressure too high (like my V6).

This sounds like classic crank plug droppage.

If you're unsure, have a pro check it out.   If you
do your own, you should be able to fish them out 
of the drain hole, or at worst drop the oilpan and 
take a look.

There was some talk of different processes in 
later cars to prevent plug droppage.  The TS crank
is different to a single-spark twin-cam so I can't
comment on the plug installation.  I use a conventional
2.0 bottom end in my TS conversion. (well, 
conventional as a core anyway).

He's also built a TS so he may know what you have.
