Chris - absolutely correct. I fitted, with great difficulty, 225-50 P7s on
6" rims and it wasn't worth the effort. These were for our Alfa 90 so it
wasn't a performance oriented fitment but even around town the squirm from
bulging sidewalls was really noticeable. In a straight line at 130 mph they
were ok.
Thanks for offering Pauline; I wish we could oblige but its hard enough
putting up with Jenny Shipley, someone who was threatened with assasination
at one stage of her career.
