I'm no GTV expert, but in California it's probably best to have a '73 or
earlier car. That way you don't really need to worry about smogging the car (I
think). At least, AFAIK, you can add mods to your car and not worry about the
SMOG people being picky. When my Milano failed SMOG early this year, it gave
me a headache.
