spider startings

Hi!   these starting problems all sound like what my spider
      did after installation of a rebuilt Spica pump but before
      getting the starting enrichment right (by adjustment (rotation)
      of the starting enrichment solenoid) and the overall mixture
      (by adjustment (rotation) of the deceleration cutoff solenoid
      Wes Ingram's book on this is great!
      what to do on a newer post Spica Alfa, i don't no!
