ignition problems

I once was trying to come up with a easy anti-theft system putting a toggle
switch on the primary and secondary wires off the coil. In one ( forget
which) if the toggle switch was thrown, the car would not start on the
starter position but if the engine was turning fast enough, would start when
key was turned to run.
