Car of the Century
- Subject: Car of the Century

Just got back from the Canadian National (i e Toronto) Exhibition in
Toronto, where the 100 candidates for 'Car of the Century' are on display.
Yes, it's worth the trip
They seem to get their display models locally -- several had Ontario plates
- -- and some don't quite match the descriptions in the catalogue. In fact
the catalogue looks to have been written by people with little knowledge of
the cars, possibly reflecting a board of directors dominated by 'former
corporate communications officers'
Still many quibbles about what is or is not included in this 'Top 100', but
all my possible choices for Car of the Century are there. ALFA CONTENT --
6C 1750, 8C 2300, Giulietta and Alfasud
Members of the Alfa Romeo Club of Canada will get a full report in the
September Update
Cheers!
