Alfa Cycling Jerseys

Alfisti,
For a little historical footnote - the Alfa cycling jerseys appear to be
from a US professional cycling team from the mid-eighties.  Members that
I know of were Dan Franger, Jeff Rutter, and I believe Mark Doughty. 
The team focused on primarily domestic events like the US Pro
championships, Wheat Thin series, Tour of Texas, etc.  They had many
wins/placings during the 3-4 years the team was in place.

Of course, they had Alfa team cars, and several events they attended
were co-sponsored by Alfa to provide the race lead/pace cars.  I
remember vividly at the LaJolla Grand Prix watching a GTV6 in power
oversteer mode tearing through the streets flat out in front of 15,000
screaming fans just inches away!  Neat stuff.  One should be able to
find articles of the Alfa team in back issues of Winning magazine, or
Velo News.
